It’s time to start preparing for the Special Olympic Summer State Games at Emory. The games are currently scheduled to be held May 27-29, 2022.
Here is a list of the required paperwork for this year’s Summer Games: All needed forms are available on our web site home page under Resources then click on Forms. Be sure the doctor signs and dates the Physicians form.
- Athletes only – Athlete Medical Form: Athletes will need to have an updated medical. Since it has been 2 years since Special Olympics Summer games have been held, most Special Pops Tennis athlete’s medicals are not current. All signed and completed medical forms will need to be turned into Special Pops Tennis and a copy sent to Special Olympics GA.

- Unified Partners and Athletes – Copy of Proof of Covid Vaccination document: Special Olympics Georgia and Emory University have some new protocol requirements to participate in the 2022 games. ALL INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING THE 2022 STATE SUMMER GAMES AT EMORY UNIVERSITY WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE COVID-19 VACCINATION.
Special Pops Tennis will need a copy of the athlete and all unified partner’s vaccine card by March 25, 2022. Family members and guests will need to show vaccine cards when attending the Summer Games on the Emory campus.
******REMEMBER: March 25th is the Deadline for medical forms and proof of vaccination to be sent to:
