BUSINESS
Katie has been practicing law since 1995. She is Senior Counsel Travelers Insurance and has worked there since 2000. In her professional and personal life, she’s a firm believer there’s no substitute for collaboration and creativity in problem solving.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Classical Studies at Agnes Scott. She earned her Juris Doctorate Law Degree from Georgia State University.
SPECIAL POPS TENNIS
Katie became a board member in January 2022. She was inspired by the Special Pops Tennis Athletes she met through the Country Club of Roswell (CCR) Annual Charity Pro Am event. Katie shared, “The Athlete are so inspiring I wanted to step up and be a part of the organization to help it thrive and grow.”
Katie has been a board member and the Chairperson of CCR Charity Pro Am in 2019, 2020 and 2021. A portion of the proceeds of this charity fundraiser is donated to Special Pops Tennis.
Her first tennis lesson was at age 24. Her roommate who played tennis got a new racquet and then handed her the old one to Katie informing her she was to go learn to play. Katie joined ALTA a year later and met her husband that first season. She’s enjoyed tennis ever since.
