BUSINESS

With over 30 years in IT, Helen’s career includes 28 years with Hewlett Packard/Hewlett Packard Enterprise and most recently, The Coca-Cola Company, where she is the Business Operations Leader for Enterprise Technologies and Chief of Staff to the Enterprise Technologies’ Vice President.

Helen believes it is important to build relationships and invest in your colleagues as it makes your job much easier, a lot more fun and you will have friends for life.

After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia, Helen then completed her MBA in Organizational Management from the University of Colorado. Her favorite motto is “Go DAWGS!”

Helen has served as a volunteer leader with several other non-profit organizations including:

Junior League of Atlanta (Sustainer now) – Served as Placement Chairman for Hospice Atlanta and volunteered with “Camp STARS”, a bereavement camp for children.

Young Men’s Service League – Served with her son for several years and was responsible for chairing the Ultimate Gift Project supporting the Nicholas House, an Atlanta shelter for homeless families.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Giving Back Program – Recruited and led volunteers to serve at the STAR House After-School Program at Esther Jackson Elementary School.

She has also served as a volunteer for North Fulton Community Charities, The Hope Lodge, Special Pops Tennis, The Hope Store and Habitat for Humanity.

SPECIAL POPS TENNIS

Helen joined the SPT Board in January 2022. One of her favorite SPT programs is the Special Populations Fall Classic. For several years, she and her children volunteered as Unified Partners. Helen especially enjoyed partnering with Laura Schuller, a Special Pops Tennis Athlete. Helen shared, “Arriving at the tournament was like being a movie star. Laura would see me in the parking lot and start yelling for me before I could close my car doors! Laura absolutely loved to play and especially loved winning. We both improved our level of play together.”

Helen played tennis as a teenager and picked it back up in her late thirties when she would help warm-up her twins before matches as they were both Junior Players. She currently plays on both Ladies and Mixed ALTA teams and co-captains a Mixed Team with her husband.
