Three Special Pops Tennis Athletes competed at the 2022 Xperience Tournament in Charlottesville, Virginia, April 4 – 8. Our Special Pops Tennis Athletes were Mimi Ngo, Lawton Kugler and Dennis Haratine. The event is by invitation only and the top players in USA are invited to appear and compete in the event. There were thirty-two athletes placed in eight divisions of 4 athletes in each division.

Each of our Athletes represented Special Pops Tennis in a first class manner with good sportsmanship and respect for their new friends. Much interest was also expressed by other delegates to participate in the 2022 Fall Classic.

Thank you to the host of Special Olympics Virginia for this world class experience and to our coaches, Debbie Currie and Jeanie Hamm. Our gratitude goes out also to our parents and hitting partners, Kim and Bill Kugler.
